No, We Didn’t Rebrand. We Expanded.
A look back at the evolution of the Treebird motion graphic
Treebird has never rebranded. But like any creative company with a pulse, we’ve evolved and our motion graphics have been one of the clearest indications of that evolution.
We didn’t change who we were. We just kept growing into it.

2025, Most Recent: The Work Speaks
With this latest version, we focused on what people actually want to see—the work. But we also wanted it to feel distinctly Treebird. Smart, creative, layered, and a little unexpected. This piece shows the team’s range and the many layers of our process, without having to say too much. It’s the most confident one yet, and the most fun to watch.

2024: The Why
Here we wanted to step back and define branding, explain our services, and show why it matters. We also pulled the team in and showed more of our work. It was polished and strategic and probably the most “professional” one in the series. But over time, we realized our audience doesn’t need Branding 101.

2022: Texture and Play
This one was all about vibe. Motion, type, texture—less about explaining, more about experimenting. It didn’t carry a strong message, and that was intentional. It felt fresh, and it was a great way for us to play with new tools and visual language.

2020: The Original
The first one. I can still remember being in the office when we landed on the song. It just felt like us and had a little Local Natives vibe to it. The Motion Graphic was playful and clear about what we do and who we do it for. It spelled things out in a way that felt right at the time. Looking at it now, it’s a little dated, but still sweet. It was a strong first expression of who we are.
So no, we didn’t start over. We just kept moving. Each version built on the last. Each one gave us a chance to say something new, in a different way.
And now, we let the work do the talking.
