Social Media + Marketing Coordinator

Treebird Branding is currently seeking a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to oversee and enhance our clients' digital presence. In this role, you will research audience preferences, create engaging content, and develop strategic plans to maximize online engagement across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing social media accounts, creating marketing strategies, and executing campaigns. This is a hybrid position, with the requirement to be based in the Atlanta area.

DESCRIPTION:

  • Research audience preferences and identify current digital trends to optimize social media content

  • Develop and maintain an optimal posting schedule, factoring in web traffic and engagement analytics

  • Create compelling text while updating and managing client content across multiple platforms

  • Stay current on trends and updates across all social media platforms to ensure maximum engagement and effectiveness

  • Develop client status reports, marketing strategies, and action plans

  • Oversee the layout and aesthetic of social media accounts, ensuring consistency with the client’s brand identity

  • Suggest and implement new strategies to attract prospective customers, such as promotions, contests, and influencer collaborations

  • Maintain accurate records using CRM and task management software

  • Coordinate and schedule client meetings, shoots, and content collection

  • Develop and manage client marketing plans, ensuring alignment with business goals

  • Create and manage paid ad campaigns, including PPC and Meta Ads

  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including writing and campaign oversight

  • Oversee Treebird’s social media accounts

  • Attend local client meetings and run errands as necessary, requiring reliable transportation

  • Flexible hours. Attendance at all required meetings is expected

Role type: Independent contractor (1099)
Compensation: $22–$25/hour, negotiable based on experience
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, New Media, Communications, Liberal Arts, or a related field preferred

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Proven experience in social media coordination

  • Ability to identify and target specific audience preferences, creating tailored content

  • Expertise in managing and growing engagement on multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Strong communication and writing skills

  • Experience in writing and executing comprehensive marketing plans

  • Strong multitasking and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Sprout Social, and similar tools

  • Solid knowledge of PPC ads, Meta Ads, and Mailchimp

  • Must own your own computer

  • Reliable transportation is required for local travel, errands, and client meetings

  • Quick learner who is self-sufficient and able to take thorough, organized notes

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Possess a sense of humor
