DESCRIPTION:

Create new designs, make design edits, proof design work, and follow design guidelines

Deliver projects to clients and maintain good client relationships
Keep accurate production, spending, and traveling records
Hybrid workplace, must be in Atlanta area

Role type: Independent contractor (1099)
Compensation: $24–$28/hour, negotiable based on experience
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications

2 years design education or 1 year on-the-job experience
Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Proficient in Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Dropbox
Own your own Mac with Creative Cloud
Have reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of CSS, Wordpress, and Squarespace
2-3 years design experience
Quick learning, self-sufficient, adept note-taker
Possess a sense of humor

With a dual focus on creating original branding for new concepts and revitalizing the look and feel of even the most-established brands, Jaci approaches each project with a fresh and thoughtful perspective. Before founding Treebird, Jaci was instrumental in growing the design department at Atlanta’s The Reynolds Group, Inc. Through a five-year tenure that saw her quickly ascend to senior designer and then become the company’s first creative director, Jaci worked on design and branding projects with visionaries, entrepreneurs, and business leaders whom she admires greatly and whose own passion elevates her sense of what’s possible through new design, branding, and communication.
