Jr. Web Developer

DESCRIPTION:

  • Build and develop websites across WordPress and Shopify platforms

  • Translate design files into clean, responsive web pages

  • Make ongoing site updates, edits, and content changes

  • Assist with troubleshooting bugs and basic technical issues

  • Collaborate with designers and project managers to bring concepts to life

  • Ensure websites are functional, responsive, and aligned with design intent

  • Support website launches and QA checks

  • Deliver projects to clients and maintain strong client relationships

  • Keep accurate production and time tracking records

  • Hybrid workplace, must be in the Atlanta area

Role type: Full Time
Compensation: $24–$28/hour, negotiable based on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of web development experience or relevant coursework

    Experience working in WordPress and Shopify

  • Basic proficiency in HTML and CSS

  • Ability to follow design files (Figma, Adobe, etc.) and implement accurately

  • Comfortable making edits within themes, templates, and page builders

  • Proficient in Google Docs and file sharing tools

  • Own your own Mac or development-ready computer

  • Have reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with basic JavaScript

  • Experience with Shopify themes and WordPress builders

  • Understanding of responsive design and mobile optimization

  • Basic knowledge of SEO best practices

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions closely

  • Quick learner, self-sufficient, and organized

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team

  • Possess a sense of humor
